Description
We already have our branding, website copy, structure and creative direction in place, along with professional photography and cinematic video (both 16:9 landscape and 9:16 portrait formats).
The website will consist of four pages, with a strong emphasis on elegant typography, beautiful imagery and a clean, editorial aesthetic.
Website inspiration:
* Charles & Co – https://charlesandco.com
* Covet Noir – https://www.covetnoir.com
* Thurstan – https://thurstan.com
Ideally, we’re looking for a bespoke, hand-coded website rather than a template-based design, although we’re open-minded and happy to explore both approaches depending on what’s recommended.
We’re looking for someone with an excellent eye for detail who can create a sophisticated, fully responsive website that looks beautiful on both desktop and mobile and is easy for us to manage.
As all the branding, copy and creative direction are already in place, we’d ideally like the website completed within one week of starting.
There will also be opportunities for ongoing work as the studio grows.
Please share examples of similar websites you’ve designed, along with your availability and confirmation of whether this timescale is achievable.

Hi Jessica,
You mentioned "hand-coded" and "easy to manage" in the same breathe. The easiest way to achieve the easy to manage part within your budget is though an open-source CMS. Though most CMS use template, the template can be hard-coded (completely custom) to your requirements. Otherwise, a purely hard-coded application will be difficult to manage unless you have some HTML skills or are ready to invest a good amount in a custom CMS.
Let me know which approach best suits your needs.
Best regards,
Robert.

Can you please answer below questions
Do you prefer a fully hand-coded website or a CMS-backed solution that allows your team to update projects and imagery independently?
Could you share your preferred hosting platform and any specific animations or transitions you’d like to incorporate? -

One question: Is there a preferred CMS for content management after launch, such as Sanity, Contentful, or a simple file-based approach, or would you like a recommendation based on how frequently you expect to update the site?
