Website/blog update on Wordpress - Navigation bar

I need help with styling the navigation bar on my blog into new category names: Travel, Eat, Shop, See, Do, 3 of the Best (already there), MyBrighton (already there), About.

I need to make sure that I can add each piece of content to the relevant category as currently they are not linked to the right names.

I want the copy in the navigation bar to be centred and the great background taken off from behind the text.
