Webdesigner to create logo and (re)design website

We are running a directory and content website in the UK for a specific service, which needs improvement and updating. We require this update/re design to improve user interface and SEO, whereby navigation between content and search is key. Currently the website is being converted to .NET, to improve the potential of the website and add future features. This project is for the design & CSS code which we will replicate across the site. Database functionality etcetera is done by us in house, which is not part of the brief. Please find below the Project outlay, which will enable you to quote a fixed price and create a time plan for this project. For privacy purposes we will disclose the URL of the website for the time being. Once we have created a shortlist of bidders, we will provide those the URL of the website. The ideal candidate for this project will have a proven track record in:
• Brand awareness and creating logos.
• Understand the concept of a user friendly interface to improve page hits (average hits per visitor), increase time spent on the site (per visitor) engaging visitors and decrease bounce rate.
• Know-how of different website income streams and page design to improve SEO.
• Creative, open minded with the ability to suggest ideas and further improvements down the line.
• Professional and the ability to report.
• A proven track record in designing directory and content websites (Dynamic & Static Pages).
• Be available / flexible for any additional design work after this initial project on this website.
• And is able to provide us examples of work done in the past.
