Description
Experience Level: Expert
Using the templates provided we would like a website designed.
It must have a CMS so we can upload and change aspects of the website ourselves, whether that be Joomla, Wordpress, or one you provide. As long as we have control over the site we're not to bothered about which one you use. We would like for the CMS to be easy for us to use, enabling us to customise as many aspects as possible.
The website should feature an e-commerce style shop where we would like to sell products, which are payed for using Paypal.

Design specifics:
The top bar with both the logo and four categories must always be present and static at the top of the page. An example of this being:
http://www.red-design.co.uk/
and
http://www.prote.in/
At the bottom of the templates we provided, you will see that there is a news/twitter feed section. We would like to update the news feed ourselves and would like our tweets from @dayone_ to be updated automatically when posted.
At the top of the templates there are two boxes, the one of the left will feature the most recent/top stories feature throughout the website. Whether that be from the work, youth blog or shop section. We would like this to be updated automatically every time we post something on the website, but will only feature the four most recent and will change every 3-5 seconds. The transition being to the left - Reference: http://www.prote.in/)
On the right is a space is a space in which we would like to be able to upload our own images, such as advertisements etc.
The from page features post from all four different categories and is updated every time we post something, much like the 'top stories' banner at the top.
Each post is colour co-ordinated according to the four categories, the templates outlining this.
When you hover over a post, the name of the post, information about the post and the date and time it was posted will appear as shown in the 'homepage2' template. This will feature throughout the website where you're able to click on posts (small boxes) - Reference: http://www.prote.in/feed
The typeface we've used is Futura LT, which we can provide if necessary.
What type do you have available for the main copy? (blog posts etc.) We would like it to be Size 9. When at this stage, get in touch with us and we'll decide on a typeface to use.
_________________________
We've provided a rough template for you to follow that features a consistent grid, that changes slightly according to the sections. For example, the work page features an array of images and type below, whereas the blog page features a image, type, image, type format. The purple text is to be ignored, it's just a reference for what's to be included in the area(s). The borders around the square posts are not to be there, all other lines are to be included. When you hover over a post, a red (blue, yellow, or green, according to the type of post) filter and white text should fade in - Reference: http://www.prote.in/
We are both graphic designers and are no strangers to designing process. We will aid you as much as is needed to ensure the website looks its best as a finished product.
Note: we've purchased the domain name.
If you provide us with you email we can send you the remaining templates, as the website will only allow us to upload a maximum three.
