Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hi
I need to build a website that will allow me to host content and to sell and manage subscriptions/access.
The attached file is a photo of a drawing outlining the three potential customer experiences en route to the content. These are: the customer with a live subscription and account; the customer with a code which may give one of several different types of access when setting up a new subscription, and the customer who inputs credit card details and pays for access and then sets up an account.
I therefore need a front end for the customer to see and to be able to navigate within to access content, a database to automate as much as possible, and a back end for me to manage the database and upload/remove content to/from the hosting platform.
I want to go live on the 1st January 2025.
I've made a video, which you can access from the following link, which goes into more detail:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ha8cw-xZmsgKD1AucKpvBFHu0xK4RAlu/view?usp=sharing
I am currently having another - e-commerce - website built in WIX, and will have premium access. It would make sense to take advantage of any overlapping functionality there - but I will be guided by you.
If you would like to quote please do the following:
- take time to review the brief and fully understand the implications it creates for build complexity and time
- send me any questions for clarification you would need before being able to come to a quote
- provide a realistic quote for delivery of the whole project, and rough timelines for completion (assuming everything goes well)
- with your quote, I would really appreciate a paragraph about your perspective on the project, and the approach you would be taking to create the website, and brief reasons to explain why you think that is most suitable.
Be aware, I know the price shown is not realistic - please don't be guided by that!
Thank you for taking the time to read this far,
Best
David
