Urgent WordPress developer required – migration validation

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to assist with a live high-traffic media/publisher website following migration to a new server environment.

Web developers and creators of my WordPress theme 'Newspaper' and related plugins have gone AWOL.

The website is built using:

WordPress
tagDiv Newspaper theme
tagDiv plugins
WooCommerce
Yoast SEO

The new server environment has already been prepared and hardened. Sites have now been migrated onto the new server and require validation/testing before final cutover.

Immediate tasks:

Review the migrated website on the new server
Check frontend and backend functionality
Review plugins and theme compatibility
Check tagDiv builder layouts and functionality
Review cron jobs and scheduled tasks
Check WooCommerce functionality
Confirm media/files are loading correctly
Check redirects/permalinks
Identify and resolve any PHP/MySQL compatibility issues
Confirm the site is stable and ready for live traffic

This is a live publisher/media platform with regular news updates, so experience with performance, caching, scalability and WordPress optimisation is important.

Longer term, we are also exploring a full redesign/rebuild of the platform into a scalable multi-city media platform, so there may be ongoing development opportunities for the right person or agency. We can discuss further after this job.

Requirements:

Strong WordPress experience
Comfortable working with existing codebases/themes
Understanding of server environments, PHP and MySQL
Experience with high-traffic publishing websites
Good communication and availability
Able to work quickly and pragmatically
