Updates to existing Wordpress site

Work Required

1.) Contact page – Contact form needs updating as follows:

- Swap telephone number fields around, so that 1st telephone number field is: Mobile Number – split into 2 boxes, 5 digits then 6 digit box (e.g 07810 ◻ 123456)

- 2nd Field – Landline number

- Due to increased Spam/Junk mail, I would like to add a “Not a robot” functionality, or alternative to remove spammers/emails using the current web form.

- My web hosting package means I have to purchase each Email address. I use the forwarding function from this Contact form, to my personal email address (Hotmail), but customer’s don’t see this address, or if I reply from it. The current contact form uses it’s own email address, which I’d like to see if we can remove and still be able to get email through the main email account and it then forwards to my Hotmail from there. This way I can remove the need for contact form email address.



2.) Gallery page = create a new Gallery, ensuring navigation all still fits on screen/mobile.

- Easy way to upload/manage pictures with a section to add title/description

- Ability to click on small thumbnail and picture enlarges and can scroll – with title/short description (1-2 sentences) visible.

- Mobile viewable friendly

3.) Update site from http to https and apply SSL

4.) Upgrade Wordpress/pluggins to the latest versions and ensure all functionality is still working on Desktop/Mobile with no errors occurring/altering site.

5.) Add additional security / protection to the site.

6.) Modify notification banner – to announce to customers when on holiday. Currently this is done via a plug-in, may need updating or changing, to enhance design and friendly/visible. Also a pop up box when website loads to announce away message. These messages should be able to be switched on/off or have active/deactivate dates.
