UI/UX Redesign for Pediatric Web Platform

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to lead the full user interface modernization and experience restructure of a multi-location pediatric healthcare web platform.

Modern medical websites must carefully bridge the gap between professional clinical authority and emotional reassurance for parents. The primary goal of this project is to eliminate legacy clutter, optimize mobile usability, and streamline the user journey for both emergency/walk-in care and routine pediatric services.

The primary goal of this project is to eliminate legacy clutter, optimize mobile usability, and streamline the user journey for both emergency/walk-in care and routine pediatric services.

Key Objectives & Scope of Work:
1. UX Audit & Information Architecture (IA):
- Rationalize and prune outdated content/archive bloat.
- Restructure user pathways to ensure parents can locate emergency/urgent care and location details within 1–2 clicks from the homepage.
- Design clear separation of journeys between new patients (registration, insurance validation) and returning users (patient portal login, secure access).

2. UI Design System & Visual Modernization:
- Develop a professional, soothing, and family-oriented design system (color palette, typography scales, high-contrast states, and accessible components).
- Create modular, reusable UI components (e.g., doctor directories with availability badges, multi-location selector dropdowns, insurance grids, verified review carousels).
- Ensure strict mobile-first ergonomics (thumb-friendly navigation, sticky action bars, and compliant touch targets).

Deliverables:
- Low-to-mid fidelity structural wireframes covering core templates (Homepage, Locations, Services, Provider Profiles, Patient Resources).
- High-fidelity desktop & mobile UI mockups.
- Fully interactive, clickable prototype (Figma) simulating core user flows and portal handoffs.
- Comprehensive developer handoff package (design tokens, spacing guidelines, icon assets).

Project Phases & Timeline:
- Stage 1 (1 Week): Information Architecture & Wireframing
- Stage 2 (1.5 Weeks): UI Design System & High-Fidelity Mockups
- Stage 3 (0.5 Weeks): Prototyping & Developer Handoff Package

Requirements for Applicants:
- Proven portfolio demonstrating complex multi-page web platform transformations.
- Specialized experience or strong understanding of healthcare, medical, or family-oriented service sectors.
- Mastery of modern design tools (Figma) and adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG AA).
