Two Professional Single-Page Websites – Hire Company & Cafe

I'm looking for an experienced web designer/developer to create two professional, modern, single-page websites for my businesses, Coffee, Keg & Cask and Lola's Catering.

I normally build and manage my own websites, but I'm currently short on time and would like someone to take care of the project for me.

What I'm looking for

I need two separate websites, each with its own branding and identity. Both should look professional, modern and established, giving potential customers confidence in my businesses.

Each website should include:

A professional homepage with an attractive opening banner.
A navigation menu with links that scroll to different sections of the same page.
An About Us section.
Details of our services and what we offer.
A photo gallery to showcase our work and events.
A contact section with a simple enquiry form.
A fully responsive design that works perfectly on mobiles, tablets and desktops.

I'm happy to provide the text, photographs and other content needed.

Full SEO optimisation (important)

I want both websites to be built with comprehensive on-page SEO in mind, not just basic SEO.

This should include:

SEO-friendly page titles and meta descriptions.
Proper heading structure (H1, H2, H3).
Keyword research and implementation relevant to each business.
SEO-friendly URLs and website structure.
Image optimisation, including descriptive alt text.
Fast loading speeds and performance optimisation.
Mobile-friendly design and technical SEO.
XML sitemap and robots.txt configuration, where appropriate.
Canonical tags and appropriate indexing settings.
Open Graph tags for sharing on social media.
Schema markup / structured data where relevant, particularly for local businesses.
Google Search Console and Google Analytics setup, if possible.
Local SEO optimisation to help potential customers find us through relevant local searches.

I understand that SEO takes time and that rankings cannot be guaranteed. However, I want both websites built with a strong technical and on-page SEO foundation from the outset.

Please specify exactly which SEO services are included in your quote.

Hosting and ongoing costs

I already own both domains and have web hosting with GoDaddy.

I want the finished websites uploaded to my existing hosting. I'm specifically looking for a one-off payment, with no ongoing monthly fees or subscriptions.

Ideally, the websites will be built in HTML/CSS or another suitable format that will allow me to make changes myself in the future.

I will require the completed website files and full access to both websites once the project is finished.

Budget and timescale

I'm open to reasonable proposals and happy to invest in good-quality work, but I'm looking for a freelancer rather than an expensive agency.

I'd like to get both websites completed as soon as possible, so please include your estimated turnaround time.

When applying, please include:
Examples of websites you've previously designed and built.
Your fixed price for both websites.
Your estimated completion time.
Confirmation that you can upload the finished websites to GoDaddy.
Details of the SEO work included in your quote.
Confirmation that there are no compulsory ongoing fees.
Whether you will provide any initial SEO reports or recommendations.

I'm looking for someone reliable, creative and easy to communicate with who can deliver two polished, professional websites with a strong SEO foundation, without unnecessary complications.

I look forward to hearing from you!
