Squarespace foster template help

Hi there, I need minor design and colour elements fixed on my Squarespace foster template either with css code or additional help.

1) I need the padding or right and left margins removed from the entire website but particularly on the home page as I need the landing images to extend across site wide without the white border from the background image.
2) Add an image into the footer background.
