Description
The look: calm, trustworthy and quietly premium, more like a well-designed magazine than a shop. Typography-led, with no photographs anywhere. Font: Cormorant Garamond. Colours: navy, gold and soft slate blue on a light near-white background.
Already done: logo, colour palette, font and all written copy for every page. I also have reference designs showing the look I'm after.
What I need:
Design and build of 15 pages: Home, About, Before You Start, Products, seven product pages, Journal (including an "On The Radar" section), Contact, Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
One reusable template for the seven product pages. The other pages should each have their own layout while clearly belonging to the same site.
Simple graphic elements as part of the design, such as molecule-line motifs.
A site I can update myself (prices, Journal entries), with written instructions at handover.
Mailchimp newsletter sign-up and a cookie banner.
My copy used word for word.
How it works:
Payment in milestones: the first after I approve the homepage and one product page, the rest as the remaining pages are completed and at launch.
Two rounds of changes on the first designs, one round on the finished site.
A simple confidentiality agreement before you receive the copy.
All communication through PeoplePerHour messages or email.
Completion within four weeks of starting..
When you reply, please include links to two or three websites you've designed yourself, preferably on Squarespace, and say which parts you did.

-/ For the seven product pages, should each page only present educational information and pricing, or will there also be outbound purchase/retailer links or comparison CTAs?
-/ For the Journal, would you like categories, tags, author/date information and separate filtering for the “On The Radar” content, or should it remain a simpler editorial feed?
-/ Should product prices be editable from one central source so a change updates across the site, or will pricing only appear on each individual product page?
-/ For Mailchimp, do you already have the audience/list and desired signup flow configured, including any welcome email or double opt-in? -

Hi Cheryl,
Before getting started, could you please confirm whether the reference designs are available for all 15 pages, and whether you already have the Mailchimp account, cookie-banner preference, and Squarespace content/assets ready to be added?
Best regards,
Prince -

Could you share the reference designs first so I can match the intended visual direction closely?
