Hello,

We are a local agency in the UK and need a specialist to assist on a project. We have a client currently on Shopify's legacy platform. The client is in the process of rewriting parts of the site and wants to take this opportunity to move to the new platform.

We are open to purchasing a theme and a redesign of the site at the same time. The site is currently 23 pages. The site like will be provided to the shorted listed candidates to provide an accurate quote. We are just looking for estimates as this stage.

    Is the current store using a legacy Shopify theme, or has it already been partially migrated to Online Store 2.0?
    Besides redesigning the site, do you intend to retain all existing functionality, or are there features or apps you plan to replace during the migration?
    Are there any custom Liquid templates, metafields, or bespoke integrations that must be preserved?
    Is maintaining the current URL structure and SEO rankings a strict requirement during migration?
    Have you already shortlisted any premium themes, or would you like recommendations based on the client's products, branding, and long-term maintenance requirements?
    Will content migration (pages, blogs, collections, metafields, images) be included in the project scope?
    Are there performance targets such as Core Web Vitals or Lighthouse scores that the finished store should achieve?
    Will the redesign include improvements to the customer journey and conversion optimization, or is the focus primarily visual?
    Would you be available for a short technical review once you share the existing store? A 20-minute audit usually makes it possible to provide a much more accurate estimate and identify any migration risks before development begins.

    A few questions before providing a final quotation:

    1. Is this a standard Shopify migration, or does the current store include custom apps or bespoke functionality that must be retained?

    2. Approximately how many products, collections, and blog posts will need to be migrated?

    3. Will you be supplying the new content and branding assets, or should we work with the existing material?

    4. Are there any third-party integrations (ERP, CRM, Klaviyo, reviews, subscriptions, etc.) that need to be preserved?

    5. Do you have a preferred premium theme, or would you like us to recommend the most suitable option based on the client's requirements?
