Shopify Custom Price Match Feature & Sections

I’m looking for an experienced Shopify designer/developer to help implement a set of custom sections and conversion features on my Shopify website.

This is for a premium furniture/interiors website, so the work needs to look clean, high-end, luxury and professional. I do not want basic, cheap-looking Shopify sections.

I already have detailed documents/briefs prepared for each section, including the layout, content, images and how each part should work. These will be supplied to the chosen freelancer.

The work includes:

Product Page Price Match Popup

When a customer is on a product page and highlights/copies the product title or product description, I want a premium-looking popup or slide-in message to appear promoting our Price Match Promise.

The idea is that if a customer is copying a product name to search elsewhere, we gently remind them that we offer price matching.

Example message:

“Found it cheaper elsewhere? We offer a Price Match Promise. Send us the link and we’ll do our best to beat it.”

Button text:

“Request Price Match”

The popup should link to our Price Match page or contact form.

Important:

Must trigger when product text is copied
Must only show once per session
Must work on desktop and mobile
Must look premium, not spammy
Must not affect site speed
Must be tested properly
Price Match Strip / Banner Section

I also need a premium Price Match strip or banner section adding to the website, based on the design brief I will provide.

This needs to fit the overall Downton Home brand style and should work across desktop and mobile.

It should be clean, luxury and conversion-focused, with proper spacing, typography and button styling.

Price Match Form / Contact Section

I need a customer-facing Price Match form or section creating so customers can submit details of a product they have found cheaper elsewhere.

The form should feel premium and trustworthy, not like a basic contact form.

The brief will explain the required fields, layout and design direction.

Payment & Promotions Tidy-Up

There is also a small section of design/development work around payment and promotional messaging, including making sure offers, finance/payment icons and promotional messages are displayed neatly and professionally.

Again, I have a separate document/brief for this section.

General requirements:

Must be experienced with Shopify
Must be confident with Shopify Liquid, CSS, JavaScript and theme customisation
Must be able to follow detailed written briefs
Must be able to implement custom design sections, not just install apps
Must make everything mobile responsive
Must keep the design premium and consistent with the website
Must not slow the website down
Must add the work safely to the theme
Must explain where the code/sections have been added
Must provide rollback instructions or confirm a backup is taken first
Must test everything before completion

I will provide:

Full written briefs for each section
Images/assets for the sections
Example wording
Website access once agreed
