SATIS – Cross‑Border Marketplace & Coordination Platform

SATIS is a cross‑border marketplace and coordination platform designed to make trade between Africa and its global diaspora safe, structured, and trustworthy. Unlike classifieds platforms or informal social‑media trading, SATIS keeps communication, payments, and evidence on-platform, creating a transparent transaction environment where buyers, sellers, and SATIS staff can coordinate confidently.
The platform enables sellers to list items, buyers to enquire and purchase securely, and SATIS to provide optional premium coordination through its Concierge service. SATIS does not operate as a courier, retailer, or importer; instead, it acts as a transaction and trust layer that supports independent buyers and sellers by offering clarity, verification, and structured processes.
In Phase 1, SATIS will launch as a mobile‑first web application, built for users in Uganda and the diaspora. Core features include structured item listings, controlled messaging, on‑platform payments, order evidence handling, and a powerful admin panel for oversight, dispute handling, and revenue management. SATIS will generate revenue through commissions on successful transactions and fees for premium Concierge services.
