Description
Experience Level: Expert
Preamble:
We are an ISP competing in a space where there are more than 300 other ISPs selling almost the same services. A well designed site will go a long way to distinguish us from the competition. More importantly, it should be easy for prospective customers to find what they are looking for from a wide array of services. We are therefore looking for somebody who can redesign and develop our site to be eye catching, yet professional, neat, and easy to navigate and attract visitors.
Scope
Develop web pages similar to http://www.diamondrx.com/ with color scheme closely resembling our current site – http://www.alignafrica.com – and should be completed before the end of January. Search engine optimization is the key aspect of the site – please note that the site is based in South Africa and the site should also be optimized for Ananzi.
CMS
This should be a CMS driven site such that anyone can update content such as news and other changes that may need to be implemented.
Templates
There should be three main templates:
1. The main page template similar or closely resembling http://www.diamondrx.com/
2. A template for the main content pages
3. A unique template for the news section.
Programming:
Only a modest amount of programming is required to enable visitors to search for domain names and book them.
Social Media
There should be a link to social media so that visitors can “like” the site.
Content Pages
In addition to main page menu, the content pages should have side bar menus unique to each content page. When the side bar menu is clicked, content should load into current window. Each content page should be slightly unique – eq images should be placed differently.
FAQ Pages
Faq page should look more or less like other content pages but the FAQ content should be organized as in http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/business/faq.html
News Pages
The news page template should be professional looking – no funky color schemes, example http://www.thezimbabwemail.com/zimbabwe/6992.html. There should be the ability to automatically send news to social media and ability for readers to share news items with others. There should also be a news subscription form linked to Constant Contact.
