My Squarespace website contains excessive inline CSS and JavaScript across 41 pages, as per the Semrush Excel file. I need an experienced front-end developer to:
• Move repeated CSS into a single global stylesheet
• Move repeated JS into a single global script (loaded in footer with defer)
• Minify both files
• Test on a few pages to make sure everything still works
This is a consolidation/cleanup job, not a redesign. The goal is to reduce page size and improve loading speed.
Conditions:
Before I accept your offer, you must send me a:
* A short written outline (1 page) showing:
• What CSS and JS is currently repeated.
• Where they propose to move it (global stylesheet, footer script, etc.).
• Estimated reduction in page weight (before vs. after).
* I will only accept offers with a 50% deposit.
