New feature UX/UI/design for platform

We need to create a new feature for our virtual coworking platform (focus101.com)
The feature is about having virtual coworking “Rooms”

These rooms, are in broad terms: virtual meetings with multiple participants
They could be with 2-3 or 20 or more participants.

The rooms are of two types
Public and private

Public rooms are available to join by anybody with an account on our platform.
They will be reflected in the main menu and also potentially as a hover menu somewhere, top left / right, this is up to the designer to figure out.

Private rooms will only be available to people who are part of those or people from a team / company that created that room.
I can create rooms and I can invite people to those rooms. Only those people will be able to see them.

If I am part of a company, any room that the company created will be visible to me.


So in short:
We need a way to display a list of the available rooms (public / private would be displayed in the same way, but obviously, on different pages)
The list of rooms available to me will also show me current people logged in, like 5 users in room, Johnny A, Johnny B, Joe Bloggs, etc
The display while in a room would be similar to what google meet does (and also in line with the material design elements)
Our platform uses material design elements
We need a way to manage rooms (if I have permissions to manage or not)
When managing and individual room, i need to be able to manage users, name and other details. Again this is in line with material design elements
While in a room, any user can mute / hide video from any other use (ie: block / ignore)
If one user calls a vote to kick another user out of the room, all users will be prompted about this, if the vote passes, the user will be kicked. So we need a way to call this vote and also how the prompt looks.
