Description
About Us:
We are a growing food service company supplying restaurants, cafés, and catering businesses across Buckinghamshire and London with daily deliveries of essential stock. Our business is built on reliability, quality, and exceptional customer service — we’re a friendly, hands-on team that always goes the extra mile for our clients.
We’re now looking to expand our reach across the UK with an e-commerce platform and refreshed brand identity.
What We Need
We’re looking for a UK-based creative freelancer (or small agency) to help us with two key deliverables:
Logo Design
Create a modern, professional logo that reflects who we are — a friendly, dependable food service company.
The design should subtly convey our industry (food service, restaurants, cafés, wholesale).
We’re open on colour palette and style — something clean, approachable, and memorable.
Deliverables: multiple concept options, revisions, and final files in multiple formats (AI, PNG, JPG, PDF).
E-Commerce Website Build / Redesign
We currently have a GoDaddy website built primarily for showcasing our stock and prices.
We now want this to evolve into a fully functional e-commerce platform that allows online ordering.
You can either redesign the site on GoDaddy or rebuild it on a more suitable platform (e.g., Shopify, WordPress + WooCommerce).
The new site should:
Be clean, visually appealing, and easy to navigate
Showcase our products clearly with pricing and categories
Allow for user-friendly ordering and account setup
Work seamlessly on desktop and mobile
Include basic SEO setup and easy back-end management for our team
We’ll provide product stock lists, descriptions, and pricing data. - this is on GD website - it is not live
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience designing logos and e-commerce websites (portfolio required)
Creative thinker — we need someone who can take a brief and run with it, as we’re short on time and creative direction
Strong understanding of UX design, colour balance, and clean layouts
Preferably based in the UK, to align with our business hours and clear communication
Experience working with food, retail, or wholesale brands is a plus
Timeline
Logo design: initial ideas within 2–3 days
E-commerce site: completed and live within 1 week of approval

Do you have any reference logos or websites that reflect the style, branding, or user experience you want for your food service e-commerce site?

3 question
1. What payment gateway for collecting online payment?
2. Do you deliver to customers, is this charge offline
3. Will you upload your products yourself? -

Jennifer
I hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to check in and understand a bit more about your vision so I can make sure everything is exactly how you want it. For the logo, are there any colors, fonts, or styles you love or want to avoid, and are there elements from the food service world you’d like it to subtly reflect? Regarding the e-commerce site, do you see yourself staying on GoDaddy or would you like to explore Shopify or WordPress for more flexibility? What features are most important for the online ordering experience, like browsing products quickly, setting up accounts easily, or something else? And are there any websites or designs you really admire that we could use as inspiration?
Getting your thoughts on these will help me make sure every design choice feels right and truly matches your vision.
I will start ASAP and finish the logo within 24 hours -
