    Can you share the URL of the site?

    Can you also advise if the £10 is just a placeholder.
    Even at this early stage, I would estimate closer to £100 as a fair and reasonable fee to consider to cover the very minimum of work.
    The slower the website speed, the more likely there are more issues to resolve.

    Your response will help make an initial assessment of the site's state, then in turn offer a proposal to cover recommendations; limitations (if any), timeline and of course costs.
