I need a web designer for redesign or new website

We are looking for a highly skilled web designer/developer to either redesign our existing website or potentially rebuild it entirely depending on the best approach.

The current website is nice but it was built poorly so the backend like coding etc isn’t great. With that being said there isn’t really any issues so the quick fix would be to just improve the exsisting website which is ideal because I need this quick.

The brand is — a premium lifestyle & culture publication focused around fashion, music, nightlife, hospitality and modern city culture. The visual direction is very clean, minimal and luxury editorial — think if Puma had a luxury mag website / modern fashion publication energy.

The current website already exists and all content/assets are available, however the overall experience now needs elevating significantly to feel more premium, seamless and high-end.

Key priorities:
- Extremely clean, modern and minimal design
- Mobile-first experience
- Luxury editorial feel throughout
- Smooth effortless navigation/customer journey
- Fast loading
- Premium typography/layout
- Strong visual presentation of magazine issues
- High perceived value throughout

The website will include:
- Digital editions
- Physical print edition store
- Archived issue collection
- Stories/articles section
- Brand/partner section
- Subscription/membership style access to archived editions

We are moving towards a model where:
- current issues are initially live/free
- older editions move into “The Collection”
- archived issues become locked/premium access
- users can unlock single editions or potentially subscribe for full collection access

Important:
We do NOT want the website to feel like a basic ecommerce or magazine template site.

It should feel like:
- a premium editorial platform
- collectible publication brand
- modern luxury media company

The customer journey is extremely important:
Social media traffic should flow naturally into:
Stories → Current Issue → Print Editions → Collection/Subscriptions

We also want the print section to feel more like luxury collectible products rather than standard WooCommerce product listings.

We are open to the best platform recommendation (Shopify, custom build, WordPress etc) as long as the final result feels premium, scalable and easy for us to manage internally.
