I need a custom interactive map of Australia for a website

I am interested in designing an online map for a website I am going to launch called whentogo.com.au which is about showcasing the best times to visit different regions of australia.

I need an clickable map for the home page which is basically a guide to the different tourist regions and users will need to click on different regions to be taken to the destination pages.


I have identified different regions I want to include in the launch phase (Phase 1), but would like to add other regions later. Tourism Australia has various resources that show the regions and shapes files to use to create the boundaries https://www.tra.gov.au/en/regional/tourism-regions. I have created a power point to show the regions I would like to include in phase one. It needs to look simple, modern and elegant.
The website has not launched yet, but would like to get the map element created to start with as it is a big part of the design. The map will need to show Australia as a whole with the regions marked somehow inside.

Could use online software such as Flourish.studio etc.
