Full Stack Developer Required - Premium Career Services Platform

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer or small development team to help us build a premium online career services business.

The initial focus will be professional CV writing, LinkedIn profile improvement, cover letters and career consultancy. Over time, we intend to introduce additional online career preparation and assessment services.

We have a clear commercial concept and are looking for someone who can help translate this into a professional, reliable and easy-to-use platform.

This is more involved than a standard website. We need a customer-facing service with an internal system for managing orders, writers, revisions and completed work.

What we are looking to develop

Customer-facing website

A modern, premium website explaining our services, packages and pricing. It should work well on mobile and desktop and provide a straightforward customer journey.

Customer account area

Customers should be able to register, provide their career information, submit CVs and job descriptions, track progress and receive completed documents.

CV writing order process

We need a structured questionnaire that captures a customer's professional background, achievements, career objectives and the role they are targeting.

Writer management area

Our internal team will need to manage customer orders, assign work, review briefs, update progress and prepare completed documents.

Quality assurance and revisions

We would like an internal approval process before work is released to customers, together with a simple way for customers to request amendments.

Administration

A central area to manage orders, customers, services and the day-to-day operation of the business.

Technical approach

We are open to recommendations regarding the technology stack, provided the application is secure, maintainable and suitable for future expansion.

We would prefer someone who has previously developed customer portals, document management applications or service-based business platforms.

We also intend to commission separate AI development work, so the website must be capable of integrating with external processing services and APIs.

Budget and delivery

Our indicative budget is £12,500, although we are willing to consider higher quotations where the proposed approach, experience and deliverables justify the additional investment.

We would prefer a fixed-price arrangement with agreed milestones.

We are happy to discuss a phased delivery approach.

When applying, please include

Examples of similar web applications you have developed.

Your recommended technical approach.

An estimated development timeline.

Your proposed project price.

Any areas you would recommend simplifying or delivering in a later phase.

Your availability and preferred working arrangements.

We are looking for someone who can contribute ideas and take ownership of the technical delivery, rather than simply create a basic website.

There may be opportunities for further development as the business grows.
