From Squarespace to Shopify

Hi Alycia,

These are the instructions, will send logins separately.

Online store – theme is Refresh (already published)

I want to switch to use the Trade theme – already started editing it. (unpublished)
The catalogue menu icon on theme trade needs to show all products like it does on theme Refresh and please help with changing it name to All Products instead of catalogue.


- Our services page – I want to add all the 5 services
E-design
Couture Interior design
Colour consult
Feng Shui consult
Online courses (I will need this to link to Thinkific – where the courses will be hosted)

- Something seems to have happened to all the menu icons on the Trade theme, where they are not bringing up the lighting, furniture etc products when you click the e.g. lighting on the top menu. While if you check the published version of Refresh, you’ll it brings up the products, so please help with fixing this.

- Contact page – we can copy the contact text on Refresh to Trade please.

- The footer is where I’d like to social media icons (big) and my company contact details e-mails, number, not address, open 9-5 – already contained in Shopify. It would be good to highlight the returns policy and that the shipping is 2-3 days.

- In the header section I have added the 11% discount – however, this is where I need your help with connecting it to the newsletter – it can be the shopify version otherwise I have Mailchimp as well. In your professional opinion which is best?

It would be lovely to have a pop-up asking customers to join the newsletter when they first come on the site too?

- On the home page I’ll do monthly favourites, and monthly new in products. – these will also be sent in a monthly newsletter

- With the stock sync app – it would be great if this was done daily. I did link the host website Hill Interiors – and I don’t know where to go from there. I do not want to sync all their products, only the ones on my website at my price not theirs listed. This is the best App I could find. I do not know if you know others?

    -Do you have any other specific issues or functionalities you’d like me to check or test to ensure the website is working properly?


    - For the Thinkific link, do you have a specific URL for the online courses, or should I just link to the Thinkific homepage for now?
