I want to start a new website that piggybacks on the social website platform but serves a purpose rather than being just a social website.

I want to create a website for intrepid Fashion designers where they can create a profile for their business or themselves showcasing their designing flair and items.. This will basically be a site where new designers can possibly be discovered or be exposed to new ideas or businesses and employment.

I want the site to have features such as:

1: The ability to create a profile where you can invite friends and designers on the site to view your work. So a private gallery that you have to be invited to as well as a public gallery to showcase your work.

2: I want the site to feature different categories the designer can register his/her profile on so that People can search businesses or individual designers in their area that specialize in Shoes, jewelry, hats, suits, dresses etc. I will supply you with a whole list of possible categories.

3: I want the site to incorporate a feature where the general public can browse categories and view designers materials and have the ability to place an order with the designer.

I would love to have the site's features as Ajaxified as possible.
