We are currently looking for a web developer to carry out the following changes on our website:
1. Currency-Based Add-On Pricing
• Update pricing for add-ons to dynamically adjust based on the selected currency, rather than remaining static in GBP.
2. Bug Fixes
• Identify and fix layout bugs across all devices and browsers to ensure a consistent user experience.
• Perform comprehensive testing to confirm all pages are responsive and display correctly.
3. Performance Optimization
• Suggest and implement strategies to optimize the website for faster loading speeds.
• Review and minimize unused scripts, improve image compression, and optimize third-party apps where possible.
4. Ajax Buy Now Button
• Custom-code the “Buy Now” button with Ajax functionality to clear the cart before adding the customer’s current selection.
5. Product Bundling Solution
• Transition from a single product with multiple variants to a product bundle setup based on options selected by the customer.
• Ensure this solution provides:
• A clear itemized breakdown of selected options in the cart and checkout.
• The ability to restrict add-ons (e.g., base, flooring) based on the marketplace or delivery location.
6. Dynamic Add-On Pricing for Assembly Service
• Implement dynamic pricing logic for the assembly service add-on. For example:
• Pricing increases based on the complexity of previous options selected (e.g., dome only vs. dome + base).
7. Header Redesign and Implementation
• Replace the current site-built header with a properly implemented Shopify header.
• Propose and implement a solution for having different headers for different pages.
8. Footer Font Fix
• Correct the font in the footer to ensure it matches the site’s design and branding standards.
Additional Notes:
• The site is currently built with GemPages, so any new implementations must either integrate seamlessly with GemPages or provide an alternative solution that allows us to continue making updates easily.
• All changes must maintain the existing design and layout standards to preserve the high conversion rate of the current setup.
