Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hello
I am working for a Company that sells regenerative skin care products online. They are in the process of launching a number of new products which will each have their own dedicated, single page sales site and registration page. They have pretty much decided upon the format of the sites and are now looking for a talented and creative website designer to finesse the sites’ ‘look and feel’, in order to help them to connect with their target market, as follows:
‘Our customers are primarily female. They are intelligent, professional and sophisticated women with a reasonable to high disposable income and they care about looking after their appearance and their families.
We need someone to help us to give our sites the edge – the ‘x-factor’ that will inspire trust and belief in our products and ultimately loyalty to our brand. It is important to us that the sites reflect the high quality of our products with a high quality, cohesive visual appearance. Therefore while the designer will have expertise in website functionality, at this stage it is their graphic design skills and feel for the target market that we are looking for. We will provide the copy to be used and also a selection of photos and diagrams but will be looking for the designer’s input on all aspects of the visuals, including images.’
In the first place we would like you to respond with relevant examples of your work and a note of your hourly rate. We will then draw up a shortlist and send successful candidates the full brief in order that they can submit a formal proposal. The anticipated time schedule for the first site is given below.
We very much look forward to hearing from you!
Kind Regards
Katherine
(PS Due to the way PPH works you may have to put in a quote in order to send through your examples. Please simply input ‘this is my hourly rate’. Then, if you make it onto the shortlist, we will decline this dummy proposal so that you can submit a fixed price quote as part of your formal proposal once you have considered the full brief.)
