Create web design/user experience for a startup

Hello web designers,
I am preparing to launch an internet startup that provides state-of-the-art online education services. We are an entirely web-based business, so the quality of our website is crucial to our success. I need a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced web designer to help make our website look as great as our services.
The functionality of our website is largely complete, but the “look and feel” of the site needs a lot of work, in fact, it needs a total makeover (including a great logo).  We are looking for a web designer who will work closely with us to create a look and feel for the site that is an expression of our mission and is aligned with and enhances our overall marketing strategy.
There are a number of pages on the site with rather complicated functionality - multiple forms, schedules, profiles, etc. - and, as well as a great overall look, we want help in organizing the information, arranging the buttons and navbars, and generally making a comfortable and pleasing experience for our users.
Therefore, we need an experienced web designer with awesome user experience skills, a thorough knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax, plus SEO, and a willingness to collaborate with us to make an exciting, professional-looking site.
You'll only need to deliver front-end/client-side code.  Our server-side PHP developers will integrate the design into the site, and work with you to make sure that any Ajax calls you need will work as expected.
