Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
The project is a single-page website build for a coworking space in Kiel, Germany.
- I need two identically styled HTML pages using a 960.gs 16-column CSS framework
- A non-final jpg of the page is attached, plus a version showing the 960.gs grid in cyan as an overlay
- The default landing page will be German language version, second page is English version.
- It will be hosted on flat web server - so no server side stuff/CMS please.
- Each text section needs to be clearly commented for easy editing.
- Source files can be supplied as Indesign, PDF or Jpeg
- All colours will be specified
- Type sizes will be specified (in pixels)
- Line spacing is universally 4/3 of type size
- Some of the type uses letter spacing (may be trial and error to get this right)
- Type is Helvetica and Helvetica Bold
- All image assets will be supplied, at correct size, as .png files
- Horizontal grid is precisely defined by 960.gs
- Elements should be vertically located by padding from previous element to allow them to move if text lengths change.
- Google analytics to be included in code.
- Design not quite final as I have not decided where to put Facebook, etc links, but they will be added before final brief artwork given.
JQuery components
- A twitter feed using http://tweet.seaofclouds.com/
Using option #5 (a twitter list)
Needs to be styled as closely as possible to the rest of the page (but I appreciate my not be exactly as my design)
If you have a preferred alternative for this I open to suggestions.
List ref. will be supplied
- An image gallery
There will be four product photos of the coworking space on the static page.
All of these need to act as a link to a JQuery photo gallery that floats over the page.
The gallery images will comprise of as many pictures as I put in the source folder.
I want a nice simple interface.
I like yoxview as it gives me the option to also display video
http://www.yoxigen.com/yoxview/
But I don't know the half of what is available - so again, I'm open to suggestions if you can point me at live demos.
Important - please - you must have a good eye and be able to check your work against the design file and correct it before showing it to me.
