We are a luxury womenswear brand based in London.
As womenswear creative pattern maker at Reem Juan you are an important part of the womenswear product development together with the design and production team. Your responsibility is to deliver high quality patterns and create the perfect fit within the product group that you work with. We are looking for a person who has excellent technical pattern skills, understands the creative process and has a passion for making patterns with experimental solutions.
Main Duties:
• Being responsible for producing first patterns from sketches
• Working closely with the designer to create patterns and prototypes
• Amending patterns after fit comments
• Being fully involved in the fitting and production processes
• Making up the first toils and samples
• Making alterations
• Being able to manually grade the patterns will be an advantage
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience.
• Ability to work at speed and under pressure
• Self-motivated and able to prioritise workload
• Be flexible, structured and precise
• Good understanding of the specifies of creative environment, respect tight deadlines and enjoying working in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent pattern cutting and draping skills
• Professional knowledge of womenswear
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Excellent attention to detail and finishing quality standards
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of garment construction / pattern grading
• Be confident, friendly, dedicated and enthusiastic
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in the pattern making process

Hi Julia,
have you already found someone for this? Would you be open to manufacturing in China? Beside the design, tech pack, pattern making and grading, I can also help you with fabric sourcing, sampling and manufacturing. Depending on the design and fabric, quantity as low as 30-50pcs per design is acceptable ;)
