Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hope you are well. We are a group of students and have designed the circuits and PCB for a bluetooth speaker with modular parts.
Can you check the files and let us know if it's all good. And if not, can you please fix what is needed and order a sample for us?
We need this before next Tuesday ideally.
The First attachment is for all the Kicad (design tool for the electronics).
The second include the Gerber’s file you will need to reorder from any manufacturer, or find a cheaper and quicker manufacturers. Also since they will be assembling there is a BOM (Bill of materials) for all the components that the manufacturer would need, one for the actual amplifier and the other for the filters that Harry added (so it contains the low pass filter for the speaker and the high pass filter for the tweeters).
Link to the audio chip I used:
https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/tda7491p.pdf
As for the connectors:
I have a 3.69mm pitches for the outputs to the speakers but the female connectors need to be made, there is a crimping tool in the box. Additionally, there is a four way 3.96mm on the PCB for the switch that also requires the housing once the switch’s wire is connected
This is the male connector: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/pcb-headers/8201157/ which is already on the PCB
If you need some clarification I can pass you the details of our electronics intern we had.
I can't seem to be able to attach ZIP files on this platform. So here is the google drive link with Gerber files and Kicad: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NE6_YYi3_1kBVrdoPD_KIwvurGf-Ol-w/view?usp=sharing
Kind regards,
Pawan
