Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have a simple adapter board that has a large ampseal 23pin connector in and a 20pin surface mount connector out,
i want to redesign this so that the 3 unused pins on the ampseal can be utilised by the addition of an extra 3 pin surface mount connector of your choosing
the board also contains several SMD capacitors and resistors so these will need to be identified and will need to be added in a BOM for the Gerber file that is created for the new board design,
the board will need to be reverse engineered as there are no existing design files for me to work from, once it is copied, the 3 pin connector will need to be added to this design. I can post the current PCB so that it can be copied, this is a fairly simple multilayer breakout board which just converts from one connector to another, sometimes passing a track through a resistor or capacitor.
please note, with the adapter board in the picture, I attempted to remove the 23pin connector hence why some pins are missing, I will supply a new adapter board, not this one.
