I am drawing some plans to have some houses built in the garden, and I am using Sketchup to do this myself.
I have some questions.
How thick should the wall be between houses, in the row of houses I am building how thick should the wall be between the two houses in the same joined attached row, and how should I represent this in sketchup
Example answer the wall needs to 30cms thick and this is represented by 15cm thick wall on the design of each house.
The plot has a slope to the garden how do I measure this and represent this in sketchup.
I have no surveying knowledge or tools but I have a builders bubble sstick, string and measuring tape.
Do I measure the distance then how far it goes down in a straight line? what do I need to do what would make this easy, also best way of representing this in sketchup the slope as far as the house plans.
When I export the plans they are of six joined row of houses do I export each individual house plan or all six ground floors all six middle floors and all six top floors, they are 6 townhouses.
If I have any further questions can you help, what help can you offer if I get stuck further.

Hi Carl,
May I know if you are a draftsman or owner of this project to see how I can help you?
Thanks
