Vector logo refinement and export pack for Modern Playbook

Project summary

Modern Playbook already has a logo concept and brand system. We are not looking for a redesign.

We need a skilled vector designer to professionally rebuild, align, refine, and export the existing logo marks so they are clean, consistent, and production-ready across web, social, email, documents, and future merchandise.

The current marks were generated using AI and are directionally correct, but some files have small alignment, spacing, and consistency issues. The job is to rebuild them properly as clean vector assets.

Primary colour: Vintage Wine #3F1521
Light colour: Coconut Cream / Coconut Milk #F0EDE5
Accent colour: Warm Gold #C8943A
Typeface: Space Grotesk, weight 500

The existing logo system has three forms:

Lettermark
Square MP monogram. Used for avatars, app icons, favicons, watermarks, and small spaces.
Wordmark
Stacked “MODERN / Playbook” mark without the tile. Used as a typographic header.
Combination mark
Lettermark plus wordmark, side by side, divided by the gold rule. Used on landing pages, headers, letterheads, podcast art, and wide-format applications.

The existing README defines the required logo forms, colourways, sizes, colours, and typeface. The brand guidelines also confirm the three-mark system and that the final SVG masters

What we need

We need the existing logo direction rebuilt accurately and professionally.

This includes:

Correct alignment
Correct optical spacing
Consistent proportions across all marks
Clean vector geometry
Proper SVG exports
Correct colour usage
Transparent and background versions
A usable final logo pack

This is a production refinement job, not a creative rebrand.

Scope of work

Please rebuild and finalise the following three logo marks:

1. Lettermark
MP monogram inside the rounded rectangle/tile
Correct vertical and horizontal alignment
Clean gold divider line
Balanced spacing between M, divider, and P
Proper rounded rectangle geometry
Works clearly at small sizes
2. Wordmark
“MODERN” above “Playbook”
MODERN set in spaced uppercase
Playbook set in sentence case
Correct vertical relationship between both lines
Clean alignment and optical balance
No warping, stretching, or inconsistent font rendering
3. Combination mark
Lettermark on the left
Wordmark on the right
Gold vertical rule between them
Proper spacing between tile, rule, and wordmark
All elements vertically aligned
Balanced as a wide-format lockup

Quality requirements

Before final delivery, please check:

Logo is not stretched or distorted
All marks are optically aligned
Spacing is consistent
SVGs are clean and lightweight
Transparent PNGs have clean edges
Text is converted to outlines in final export files
Editable live-text version is also supplied separately
Colour values exactly match the brand palette
Lettermark still works at 64px
Wordmark remains legible at small sizes
Combination mark feels balanced in wide format
What we do not want

Please do not:

Redesign the logo
Change the brand colours
Change the typeface
Add gradients, shadows, strokes, effects, or texture
Add new symbols or icons
Make the logo more decorative
Use mockups instead of proper source files
Approximate the logo by eye without rebuilding it cleanly
