SpeakerBox new youthful logo for Youth Group

Dear Designer,

I’m looking to design a new fresh logo for the Youth group that I work with.

We are called SpeakerBox, a Children in Care Council (for young people in care and leaving care).

SpeakerBox represents the voices of young people in care. SpeakerBox is a space for our vulnerable young people to have a say, be heard and advocate for other young people going through the care system. It is a space where young people, who may have once been overlooked, feel empowered, stand up and be counted.

I have attached a flyer that tells you a little more about us and who we are.

It’s long overdue, and we believe that we deserve to have an official logo and a brand that stands out and represents who we are and what we’re about.

It needs to be fresh, and youthful but something that demonstrates how important we are to our community, and the importance of what we represent. But something that is easily identifiable and stands out, even when viewed via social media via mobile phones.

Please see the attached examples of simple designs that are timeless and stand out.

I've also attached a few designs that I've tried to do myself, but they seem very generic and don't give the 'wow factor'; that we're looking for.

We played around with a few conceptual ideas, and the majority of my young people liked the blowhorn with SB concept.

Please see the attached rough design made by me, but it could be more sophisticated using just black or white colours. Instead of wild colours, so it can be placed anywhere, and easily fit in.

However, if you want to be experimental with colour, then we’re open, just surprise and WOW us!

I selected you, among a few others, as I like your artistry, and feel you could deliver.

Please let me know what kind of ideas you have, such as cost and time frame.

In brief –

• The design should be bold, youthful, timeless, and unique
• Needs to include a megaphone (maybe an abstract, quirky or minimalist style) with the initials ‘S B’ in the centre of it

We need to have a few different design/concept ideas, so I can show them to my young people for them to vote for their favourite concept, please.

I made a few wasted attempts via the Fiver app, but all the initial designs I got were generic and did not include most of what we included in our brief. So, try again with your team.
