Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need a logo upgrade that will be usable on online platforms, social media etc.
I am a professional storyteller who works in performance, community arts, and in outdoor learning.
I'm passionate about the role of storytelling in promoting regenerative culture, and primarily use folk tales and myth as tools for stirring curiosity and wonder in the modern world, stirring imagination and love of nature, and engaging in contemporary issues.
I'm based in Scotland and many of the tales I tell are from here.
Images I am considering that could be a part of the design include a rowan tree (as in the attached logo), a fox, seals/selkies, sunrise, celtic knotwork or something more abstract.
My original colour scheme involved forest greens, although I am also contemplating the use of blue, yellow and a reddish-purple.
The qualities of my brand of storytelling balance, folk culture and myth with a contemporary edge, playfulness whilst engaging in serious issues, and connection between people and the natural world. (Hopefully that makes sense).
I like the original logo (attached) so am open to a slight refreshment of this one with adaption for social media banners etc, or something new.
I've also attached my poster from a show I did at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Here is a link to my website (which is in need of an upgrade!).
https://storyconnection.org/
I'm really hoping to commission a logo design I can proudly share, and start to build my business around, and work with an inspiring, knowledgeable and personable designer.
Thanks
Dougie
