Luxuary/Modern Logo Concepts Needed

Hi All,

I am starting up a new website in Febuary 2011 and require some logo concepts.

I have already hired a designer for the Brand/Website, but don't really like his early concepts too much so want to inject some fresh ideas into the mix.

However, I have committed to work with him, so this job is really just to come up with some new concepts that he will then finalise (if they need any further tweeks).

Requirements + Pay:

I will pay £75 for this job, and I anticipate will take 3 hours - £25 per hour

I will require an original 8 rough concepts which can be sketched or worked up on software – then emailed to me.

I will then select 2 from the 8 that I'd like to see worked up in more detail. These versions will ideally be complete (or close complete) and be presented on a PDF and using professional design software as opposed to freehand. However remember they are concepts so I won't require anymore re-works after these two final versions have been submitted. I'm just hoping to have two ideas I can give to my designer to work into a final version.

I will need the layered PSD/Illustrator files for the final 2 designs, including the font used or full details of where I can obtain it. (please don’t consider fonts that are over £50 for commercial use)

IMPORTANT: ONCE THE £75 HAS BEEN PAID YOU MUST AGREE THAT I HOLD THE LEGAL COPYRIGHTS TO THESE DESIGNS AND AM ALLOWED TO DEVELOP THEM FURTHER IF I FEEL ANY OF THEM ARE SUITABLE. I ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO USE THEM (FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES) EXACTLY AS THEY ARE PROVIDED AND BY ACCEPTING THIS JOB YOU WILL BE AGREEING TO THIS TERM.

The full brief will be sent over once someone has won the project, as it contains confidential details about my business model, but I've written a summary of my target market below. Please only bid for this job if you feel you could create a luxury logo, and can provide your portfolio showing other logo’s that are similar in style to what I require.

Target Market:

'The Aspiring Luxuriates'...Those who want to live the life of luxury but do not have the disposable income to do so

Roughly aged 21-35/M & F (but 70% female bias)

Outlets we will be partnering with include: Oxo Tower, Skylon Bar, Gaucho, Ping Pong, Whisky Mist, Match Group, Malmaison Hotels, Hotel Du Vin, Starwood Hotels, Momo's, W Hotels e.t.c These are obviously quite high end/luxury Brands, so the logo needs to be aligned to this.
