Logo needs a transparent background

Hi,

I have an event hire and marquee hire company that I need a logo for.

I have designed the logo attached from a template, that I have as a .psd file.

I'd like the background to be transparent, so a dark outline will need to be drawn around the banner part of the logo otherwise there will be blank parts to the logo (see attached).

This isn't a big job, but I do need help.
