Logo - Global fresh produce supplier

We would like to develop a logo for our international Agri (fruit and veg) commodity trading company. Given the traditional nature of the industry and the need for the logo to be incorporated on our website as well as on our fruit/veg boxes (packaging), we would like the logo to retain elements of the traditional and the modern. We do have a tech focus and this also needs to be communicated in the logo. Below is an example of some of our peers to get a sense of the nature of the industry:
