Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Information for the business: We sell mobile apps
Industry: Internet/Software
Type of logo: Word mark, Pictorial mark
Brand name/slogan in logo: Qubular Software, MiniCards
Ideas for the visual style: See attached
Things to avoid: Serious please, don't make it cartoony.
Extra notes: I have just started my own business and am looking for some graphic design work to help realise my company logo and also the icon / logo for the mobile app which I am creating. I have initial concept designs for both, and would like:
a) Vector graphic / hi-res versions of the company logo suitable for use in the app, on websites, company letterheads, marketing etc.
b) Vector/hi-res versions of a simple icon-style version of the app logo, suitable for use as an app icon, or as a badge/logo/clickable image link on websites.
c) Large hi-res Image for app in b) for use as a banner in Play store listing, promotional material, as a website background / masthead image etc.
a) and b) need to be suitable for registration as trademarks.
The design for a) is relatively flexible and the logo is illustrative. Some play on the words "cube" and "tube" may be of benefit. Company name is already predetermined so can't be changed.
The sample icon for b) is mono but feel free to add colour and depth, change fonts etc. However the icon will be registered as a trademark so nothing overly complex. However the design elements (phone, spades logo and product name) have undergone a preliminary assessment for trademarkability, so inclusion of other elements would require additional approval on my part. The app icon could be an embellished version.
c) could be a development of b) or it could be something that stands on its own. The primary usage would be as a "feature graphic" in the Play store.
Although the app is a card game the target demographic would be twenty-thirtysomethings, not children and the business may also develop non-entertainment software. Think DropBox and Evernote, not Candy Crush or Farmville in terms of visual appeal.
The budget available is in the range of mid-low three figures.
The images need to be ready in the next week or two, so applicants should be available to start immediately.
