Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: A website that will represent (to start with) a single creative person.
Industry: Entertainment
Type of logo: Word mark, Letter form
Brand name/slogan in logo: Glassy Pictures
Ideas for the visual style: I like the way "Glass" is designed for Google Glass, the modern clean look is preferred.
Where the design will be used: This will start life as a still image, but I would hope to animate on my showreel etc.
Extra notes: The name of the company, and all accompanying social media pages will be Glassy Pictures, however it is more like 'Paul PB is Glassy Pictures', so if there is anywya Paul PB can be somehow anchored to the Glassy Pictures logo that would be great. I have attached what was going to be the logo and animation for www.paulpb.com. My plan is to have both www.paulpb.com and www.glassyfilms.com point to the same website, and eventually I'll drop the PaulPB element from the branding, once the company can stand up without my name being attached.

The genesis of the name comes from Glassy water whilst surfing, the nicest water to ever surf, and that is the target to reach for in terms of productions the company makes. I have attached a couple of images also for reference.

My long term hope is to have the logo turned into a 3D object, made of glass, that can interact with the images I put behind it (i've attached a couple of images for this too), if you know how to produce this within After Effects and that could be added as an optional extra that would be great! Obviously pointing out if additional plug-ins would be required to make the lighting effect work.

Just discovered I can only upload 3 images, but hopefully these combined with my description will give you an idea...

Modern, Clean, can be anchored with the PaulPB (perhaps), and will work as a 3D object in the future.
