Logo design (based on existing one)

Hello designers!

We are looking for a logo design for our new subsidiary. The name of the original brand is OakLabs, you will find the according logo attached. As you will see, this original design is based on the greek letters Omega and Lambda (for the 2 starting letters of the company name: OakLabs). Now, what we will need is a new logo for a second brand called 'OakLabs Oncology'. What is important to us:
1. It should be clearly visible that the two brands are connected - that means the new logo should to some degree resemble the old one.
2. The color should work well with the original color (though not necessarily be the same) in case we want to use both logos together.

We may want to create further subsidiaries, so it might happen that more logos would be added later.

Our first idea was to work with two Omegas for OakLabs Oncology, but we are open to any better/other idea. It would be great if you could quickly draft your idea for us.
