Logo Design and Creation. Need an old logo modernised.

Extra notes: We are currently using a logo that has our name Acorn across the front of it but finding it doesn't show what we do as a company. Our old logo design with writing next to it (see photo attached) clearly shows what we do and is more friendly with the face. We need a logo with writing next to it. However need the actual to be able to be seperated so it can be used on its own if necessary.
