Brand name/slogan in logo: Mintridge Events

Ideas for the visual style: easy to read logo with creative design

Where the design will be used: Print, clothing, web....
Extra notes: I require a new logo to be created from scratch.
This is the information i am able to give you about what is required but apart from this I need creative suggestions and ideas.

The logo is for an event company called Mintridge Events, the main focus of the company will be sports camps for children (although this will not be the only focus therefore the logo needs to be interchangeable to all business avenues).

One idea was for the text (company name) to be in the shape and style of a rugby ball.

The logo will need to be fairly simple because it will be used on clothing therefore needs to be able to be embroidered correctly.

I am open to colours and fonts. I understand that because I am not be very specific this may require changes throughout the process,
