Ideas for the visual style: Radioheads Fonts
Extra notes: This project is for New Zealand Alt Rock band Meridian Vibe who are about to begin releasing singles with video from August. The previous font was deemed unsuitable due to its 'freehand' look which is more frequently used by metal bands.

The band are seeking a more contempory branded look which is an adapted from another font or created by fresh design. Whatever looks good. The font simply needs to say 'MERIDIAN VIBE' or can be written as 'Meridian Vibe' again whatever looks good.

In addition as part of this project, a simple congruent 'MV' logo needs to be developed. This is common with bands like the Pixies who also used their iconic 'P' (the one from 1991) as synonymous with the band in their branding.

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: A UK designer is preferable given that such designers will better understand Alt Rock. If you aren't from UK but still want to send a proposal then plaese make sure you have some understanding of the UK music scene and indie rock bands.

The band are self funded, not covered by a record company. Fair compensation will be made but the budget is not vast. Open to Experienced designers and Junior designers with fresh ideas, (or an eye for tapping in to a modern aesthetic). A couple of examples of work could be helpful. Designer should be ready to begin inside a week.

Delivery of the project includes all design files to allow future modification at our end.

Design wise the decision has been made to go with PPH over a crowd design process where so that there is good for feedback and communication.
