Logo design

Information for the business: Fitness company with a sister company which provides a service/product that promotes and speeds up recovery post sport and training
Industry: Sports and Fitness
Brand name/slogan in logo: Ridge Fitness Company and Ridge Recovery Room
Ideas for the visual style: I think I 'd like abstract, letters that are clear and concise
Things to avoid: I'd like to avoid the typical Ridge line image because I live and work in a small alpine ski and summer resort that already has many alpine ridge logos
Where the design will be used: website, signage, printed cards and leaflets
Extra notes: I am in the process of setting up a company called Ridge Fitness Company which will encompass fitness and nutrition services , Alpine retreats providing outdoor activities and competitions both summer and winter. Also an online coaching element.

I have already started a micro business which I would like to link to the main company eventually.... this is called:
Ridge Recovery Room. This provides a therapeutic service/product called Normatec Recovery system. I have a small studio where people can come in and use the compression system (Normatec) to speed up recovery after sports or fitness training. It is also used in rehabilitation from injuries.

So my main focus is the Ridge Recovery Room.... but I'd like to be able to link it retrospectively to the Ridge Fitness Group once I have that up and running.
