Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: School for vulnerable children
Industry: Education
Type of logo: Abstract mark, Pictorial mark
Brand name/slogan in logo: Tharreo House
Ideas for the visual style: "Tharreo" is the Greek word for empowerment (also means bold, courage, cheer). Support,
Preferred colors: Client has asked for "pinky red"
Where the design will be used: Web and printed material
Extra notes: Due to multiple deadlines, I have need for a freelancer to help create concept logo ideas for an existing client.
The client is a school for vulnerable children.
They will be looking to apply the finished logo to varying media from traditional branding to web and have specified a "pinky-red" colour as the school will mainly be for girls, however, if you feel other colours would work or even more than one colour would work for any given concept then feel free to do so.
The tag/subtitle needs to say "Part of the Beckmead Family of Schools".
The client has an existing logo and it would be nice to keep some kind of link so that it shows that they are part of a "family" but the client has also said that they open to something new
"Tharreo" is the Greek word for empowerment (also means bold, courage, cheer); so these would be good starting points. Themes of support and at the risk of sounding too vague, it should be sensitive but not weak/vulnerable.
I have attached the clients existing logo and also the separated emblem, you may want to use the shape.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Many Thanks
Hanniel
