JPS Systems New Logo

We are looking for an experienced logo designer to develop a new identity for JPS Systems N.E. Ltd, an established UK communications engineering company founded in 2003.

About our company

JPS Systems designs, installs, inspects and improves specialist communication systems, primarily within public buildings. Our work includes:

* Public address and announcement systems
* Induction loop and assisted-listening systems
* Speech-transfer systems
* Communication-system inspections and fault-finding
* System design, consultancy and upgrade planning
* Accessibility and inclusive communication

Our customers include local authorities, leisure centres, police premises, fire stations, schools, libraries, churches and other public buildings.

The image we want to project

We are evolving from being viewed mainly as an installation company into a modern, knowledgeable communications-engineering consultancy that can also provide installation and ongoing support.

The new logo should make JPS appear:

* Technically knowledgeable
* Modern and forward-looking
* Approachable and trustworthy
* Established, but not old-fashioned
* Relevant to communication, sound, accessibility and engineering

We want something distinctive and memorable, but it must remain suitable for a serious professional company. It should be modern without being wacky, overly futuristic or gimmicky.

We are open to original ideas and would like the designer to explore several genuinely different concepts.

The company initials “JPS” should remain prominent. The full company name is:

Communications Specialists

We are open to a tasteful abstract symbol representing ideas such as connection, clear communication, sound, signal paths, accessibility or precision engineering. However, we do not want to restrict the design to an obvious loudspeaker, microphone, soundwave or hearing-loop symbol.

The design should be clean and uncluttered. It must work equally well on:

* Our website and digital business dashboard
* Quotations, reports and invoices
* Workwear and vehicle graphics
* Business cards and stationery
* Social-media profiles and small icons
* Light and dark backgrounds

Colours

Our preferred colour family includes:

* Deep navy or strong professional blue
* Teal or turquoise
* White
* Possibly a restrained warmer accent colour where appropriate

We like some colour and character, but the overall appearance must remain professional. We are open to thoughtful recommendations from the designer if another colour combination would strengthen the brand.

* Details of the fonts and colour codes used
* Confirmation that the completed logo and all intellectual-property rights will belong to JPS Systems N.E. Ltd

Please do not submit stock symbols, recycled templates or automatically generated designs. We want an original identity created specifically for our company.
