Improve my logo

I want to make the logo for my street food/catering business better. I have a logo already designed which we use but I want to improve it so it looks more professional.

I want the same font kept and same design- so just really want the 'caribou' character of the logo improved perhaps with some texture or just to make it look less like its been done on paint (which it hasn't!) - I used the program Inkscape to create the logo but could send this over via pdf files or jpeg for work to be done on it if Inkscape is not used.
