Ideas for a new logo

I have a name and a concept and whilst I have some ideas for a logo, it would be good to get someone else's ideas and see if they come up with something different. I will provide the name, back ground and some initial thoughts and the you will come up with some ideas - maybe 5 or 6 different ideas (not just different versions of same idea). The actual art work does not need to be spot on as I have my own graphic designer than that work on that, it is more ideas I am looking for that perfect art work.
