I need to develop a logo

I am currently in the process of setting up a porridge bar, called "Uji", and need some help developing the logo.

We wanted the logo to be very clear, simple but eye catching. Perhaps a bowl of porridge, with a spoon coming out, some steam coming off the top and the name "Uji" written on it somewhere? I'm afraid I'm not particularly artistic so struggle to picture these things!

The company is called "Uji" which means "porridge" in Swahili so I wondered whether we could include something related to Kenya in the design - perhaps incorporate the colours of the flag or something like that?
